Well, this word reminds me of one of the laws that I have written in my third book, Win the Leadership Game Every Time.
And that law is the Law of Circle, and the Law of Circle is simple. It says that you cannot do it alone.
This law is based on the fact of the universe that states that everything and every person is somehow and in some way connected to each other. And this connection is so omnipresent.
See, you need a group of people with whom you can get along. You need a group of people who can be your go-tos—for sound advice, for inspiration, for ideas, for criticism, for creative stimulation, and for the truth.
I like what Mother Teresa said:“You can do what I can't do, and I can do what you can't do. Together, we can do great things.”Every leader's potential is determined by the people they associate with. You need a group of people with whom you can really build that circle.
As you progress in your life and career, you will meet hundreds of people.Everyone will have something in common with you, and some might be just the opposite of who you are.You create and decide your circle, and there are two primary layers of your circle, which I've explained in the book:
One is the macro layer
The other is the micro layer
So I encourage you to read this chapter in the book, titled The Law of the Circle. And I want you to build those two circles—the micro and the macro-level circle—and become a master in developing incredibly strong connections.
