While embracing challenges means that when an unfamiliar and tough issue shows up in your life, you face it head on, determined to come out on the top and not let it defeat you. Because the fact of the matter is, how you handle these obstacles defines you as a leader.

When you are unsure of something or your situation, don't just freak out or throw your hands in the air and give it up. But use that opportunity to embrace the challenge. When you come face to face with your challenges, take charge. Put your shoulders back and tackle them. Throwing the towel is just not an option. Be determined that you are going to beat them and how are you going to do that? Well, it's simple three steps.

Number one, take it slow. Don't just rush in to solve the problem, just take a step back and analyze the situation. Number two, build your squad. It can be. It can just make a world of difference when you have people surrounding you who are supportive. And number three, be grateful for your challenges. Let me tell you, each day I hear of people losing their jobs. They would do anything to face challenges that you have at your work. So be grateful. And the more you practice this, the more you will be able to embrace your challenges.
